EAMCET last date extended to April 9

The EAMCET Committee has decided to extend the last date for submitting application forms to April 9 in view of the recent disturbances in the city.


EAMCET-2010 Convenor N.V. Ramana Rao said students can submit applications till April 15 with a fine of Rs.500 and till April 21 with a fine of Rs.1,000.

However, these have to be submitted at the Convenor's office only. Applications will be available till April 21 at all the head post offices, main branches of Andhra Bank and eSeva centres across the State. Prof. Rao said about 3.1 lakh engineering forms and 46,500 medical stream forms were sold till March 25.

This year the combined number could touch four lakh as students tend to purchase during the last few days. Last year, 3.78 lakh forms were sold.
He said so far 1.8 lakh candidates have submitted the forms while 5,000 odd candidates used the online facility to submit forms.
