NIT AGARTALA

The National Institute of Technology Agartala, formerly known as Tripura Engineering College, is one among the 20 (twenty) NITs established by the Central Government. The institute enjoys the deemed university status and is fully funded by the Central government.

NIT Agartala offers both undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Admission to B.Tech is based on the score in AIEEE and admission to M.Tech course is strictly based on GATE percentile.
The Institute is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) - the apex body which regulates the technical education in the country.
