NIT Warangal: An Introduction

NIT WARANGAL 

The National Institute of Technology, Warangal (NITW), formerly known as the Regional Engineering College, Warangal (RECW) was established in 1959  under the guidance of the then Prime Minister of India Pt Jawaharlal Lal Nehru. The institute is located in the southern town of Warangal in the state of Andhra Pradesh. It was rechristened as NIT Warangal in September 2002 and was offered the deemed university status in the same year. Most recently, on 15 august 2007, NITW was declared as an Institute of National Importance (INI) by the Govt. of India.

Selection process: 

 Admissions to B.Teh / B.Arch courses are made on the basis of marks obtained in All India Engineering/Architecture Entrance Examination (AIEEE).
 Admission to M.Tech program is made on the basis of GATE Percentile.
