Sri Jayachamarajendra college of Engineering was started by Dr. T. M.A.Pai who was the chairman of Manipal Education Academy, Mysore. The college was founded in the year 1963 and earned its reputation as a leading institution for technical education of our country. The college offers various degree courses which is well approved and accredited by All India Council for Technical Education and National Board of Accreditation.

The college campus is built up in a greenish area of Mysore and is equipped with academics buildings.
