Applications on the prescribed form are invited from eligible candidates for admission to MBBS/BDS, B.Tech/B.Arch., B.A (Hons)/B.Sc (Hons)/B.Com (Hons)., M.A/ M.Sc/ M.Com., XI/Diploma in Engineering and other courses of the university


List A - Courses for which admission tests shall be held at Aligarh, Bhopal, Kolkata, Kozhikode, Hyderabad and Lucknow

B.Tech only, Last date of receipt of application form – 06.03.2010, Admission test fee/processing charge – Rs. 600/- (online submission), Rs 800/- (offline submission), Test date – 29.04.2010 (10.00 a.m. to 01.00 p.m.)


B.Tech/B.Arch., Last date of receipt of application form – 06.03.2010, Admission test fee/processing charge – Rs. 700/- (online submission), Rs 900/- (offline submission), Test date – 29.04.2010 (10.00 a.m. to 01.00 p.m./3.00 p.m. to 06.00 p.m.)

MBBS/BDS, Last date of receipt of application form – 08.03.2010, Admission test fee/processing charge – Rs. 700/- (online submission), Rs 900/- (offline submission), Test date – 08.05.2010 (10.00 a.m. to 01.00 p.m.)

List B - Courses for which Admission Tests shall be held at Aligarh and Lucknow

Class XI (Science)/Diploma in Engineering, Last date of receipt of application form – 13.03.2010, Admission test fee/processing charge – Rs. 400/- (online submission), Rs 600/- (offline submission), Test date – 15.05.2010 (10.00 a.m. to 12.00 noon)

Class XI (Arts/Social Sciences/Commerce), Last date of receipt of application form – 13.03.2010, Admission test fee/processing charge – Rs. 400/- (online submission), Rs 600/- (offline submission), Test date – 15.05.2010 (04.00 a.m. to 06.00 p.m.)

Paper I and Paper II(a) of Diploma in Engineering with Architectural Assistantship/Interior Design, Last date of receipt of application form – 13.03.2010, Admission test fee/processing charge – Rs. 500/- (online submission), Rs 700/- (offline submission), Test date – 15.05.2010 Paper-I (10.00 a.m. to 12.00 noon), Paper-II – 16.05.2010 (10.00 a.m. to 12.00 noon)

The admission test of MD/MS/PG diploma and MDS courses 2010 held on 24.01.2010 has been cancelled and will now be held on 07.03.2010 from 10.00 a.m. to 12.30 p.m.

Test centres: Candidates are required to indicate clearly in the column provided in application form their preference of admission test centres against the available test centre options for various courses as given below. The University reserves the right to allot any test centre irrespective of the preference indicated without assigning any reason

How to obtain the admission form: The prescribed application forms and the guide to admissions 2010-2011 containing details of courses are available on the following website www.amucontrollerexams.com. Candidates are requested to keep visiting the website for updates and other information.


Procedure for submission of application form: The candidates have the facility to either submit the application form on-line or fill in the downloaded version of the application form.


Procedure for submission of online application form: Fill up the online application form by following the instruction attached to it. Take the printout of the PDF generated application form on A-4 size paper of 80 GSM. Put your thumb impression, signature and paste your recent photographs at the designated place on the application form. Attached the appropriate demand draft / cash receipt along with other document(s) with the application form and do not fold or multilate it in any way. Put the application form inside the A-4 size envelope and paste the postal slip on the top after filling it properly.


Procedure for submitting downloaded version of the application form: Download the appropriate application form from the above website meant for the course in which the candidate want to apply and get it printed on A-4 size paper of not less than 80 GSM. Carefully fill it in block letters using black ball point pen. Put your thumb impression, signature and paste your recent photographs at the designated places on the application form. Attached the appropriate demand draft/cash receipt along with other document(s) with the application form and do not fold or multilate it in any way. Put the application form inside the A-4 size envelope and paste the postal slip on the top after filling it properly.

Application form can be submitted by hand or sent by registered post/speed post or through courier so as to reach up to 5 p.m. on or before the last date to the respective offices as given under the heading submission of application form. Incomplete application forms, those received late, without requisite fee and not supported with the required certificates/documents shall be rejected and no further correspondence shall be entertained in this regard.
