ADMISSIONS TO B.E./B.TECH. DEGREE COURSES 2010

DA – IICT, a UGC recognised university, is a major educational and research institution of the Reliance ADAG. Highly qualified faculty, supported by state – of – the – art e – enabled infrastructure brings research – led teaching to the classroom.

The Four – Year B Tech Program is unique in the emphasis it lays on the convergence of information and communication technologies and their interface with other disciplines. The Institute also offers masters and doctoral level programs. The students of the first two batches of B Tech program have been placed in leading ICT companies.


Undergraduate program

B.Tech (Information and Communication Technology)

Eligibility: Candidates should be a pass in the 12th standard or its equivalent with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry/Computer Science; be born on or after 01 October 1985; appear in AIEEE 2010 examination being conducted by CBSE on 25th April, 2010; submit a separate application to DA-IICT in the prescribed application form.

Selection process: Short-listed candidates will be called for counseling at DA-IICT and selection for admission will be based on the All India rank of AIEEE 2010. Details are available at DA-IICT website.

A limited number of seats will be offered through a separate channel called Direct Admission of Foreign and NRI students (DAFS) to Non-Resident Indians, foreign nationals and persons of Indian origin.


How to apply: The DA-IICT application form will be made available through the following channels
At selected branches of Axis bank (formerly UTI bank), as given below, by paying Rs 1000/-
Sending a demand draft of Rs 1050/- to the Institute, the draft should be in favour of DA-IICT and payable at Ahmedabad.

Apply online at http://www.daiict.ac.in by making an online payment (through credit card) of Rs 1000/-

Scholarships: DA-IICT offers merit and merit-cum-means scholarships for B.Tech students. In each category up to five students are awarded scholarships equivalent to full tuition fees
