Duplicate IP University admission forms in market

Exam season is in and everyone is trying to make something out of it.The Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) has lodged a complaint against the dubious booksellers in the capital of selling ‘duplicate’ admission forms of the university worth Rs.1000 each to the applicants.

The police claim to perform their initial investigations first and only then would be registering a case.

The university sources reveal that they have already received more than 300 fake forms with fake serial numbers.

A senior official said that, "Although the forms which the university has received from the applicants carries a valid serial number but the issue is that it is yet to release them at the designated banks. The fact that these forms, with similar serial numbers are already available in the market and have even been submitted by the applicants proves that there are two sets existing out if which one is obviously fake."

Originally these forms are designated to be sold from the Punjab and Sindh Bank branches but according to a source, "Students buy them from street book corners located in Laxmi Nagar, Dwarka and Jamia Nagar."
