NIT KARNATAKA(SURATHKAL) 

National Institute of Technology Karnataka (NITK) is one of the premier engineering institutes of the country imparting excellent technical education at Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Doctoral levels. The institute, originally established in 1960, was subsequently upgraded to a deemed university by the Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India. NITK is located at Surathkal, about 22 kilometers North of Mangalore City along the Kanyakumari-Mumbai National Highway No. 17.
