Score A Good Rank in EAMCET 2010



Here are some tips for the EAMCET 2010 Aspirants to crack EAMCET to get a good rank may be in the range of 1000-2000 ..
• To get a good rank in EAMCET, you need to get a total of 120 provided you have 80% in IPE.
• To get a good rank in EAMCET, you have to get maths – 60, Chemistry – 35 and physics 20 – 30 marks.
• The following suggestions may help u in getting the required marks in Physics as that would be the deciding factor
a) The best way to learn physics is “Conceptual Approach “
b) Concentrate more on Modern Physics, Electro Statics, Magnetic Effects of Current and Earths Magnetism, Heat & Thermo Dynamics, SHM and Oscillations, Current Electricity
c) When ever you try to solve a problem in physics, you try to visualize the problem.
d) The entire data given in the problem should be there in your mind, if required read the problem twice
e) Remember, same marks for an easy question and as well for a difficult question. Therefore, first search for easy question you know 87% of the question paper consists of easy questions based on “Simple Concepts”. Work Hard

EAMCET last date extended to April 9

The EAMCET Committee has decided to extend the last date for submitting application forms to April 9 in view of the recent disturbances in the city.


EAMCET-2010 Convenor N.V. Ramana Rao said students can submit applications till April 15 with a fine of Rs.500 and till April 21 with a fine of Rs.1,000.

However, these have to be submitted at the Convenor's office only. Applications will be available till April 21 at all the head post offices, main branches of Andhra Bank and eSeva centres across the State. Prof. Rao said about 3.1 lakh engineering forms and 46,500 medical stream forms were sold till March 25.

This year the combined number could touch four lakh as students tend to purchase during the last few days. Last year, 3.78 lakh forms were sold.
He said so far 1.8 lakh candidates have submitted the forms while 5,000 odd candidates used the online facility to submit forms.

EAMCET is a Common Entrance Test, designated as Engineering, Agricultural and Medical Common Entrance Test – 2010 (EAMCET – 2010) of Andhra Pradesh will be conducted (as per G.O.Ms.No. 16 Edn.,(EC) Department Dt:25/2/2004 and its amendments) by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad for entry into the first year of the following professional courses offered for the academic year 2010-2011 in the State of Andhra Pradesh. 

How To  Get Application form for EAMCET:

  • Candidates with Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry as optional subjects in their Intermediate or its equivalent course should submit “E” category application for Engineering (B.E/B.Tech/B.Tech (Ag.Engg) /B.Tech (Dairying)/ B.Tech (FS&T) (MPC) /B.Sc (CA&BM) (MPC) and B. Pharm (MPC),Pharm-D((MPC) courses.
  • Candidates with Biology, Physics and Chemistry as optional subjects in their Intermediate or its equivalent course should submit “AM” category application for Agriculture (B.V.Sc., and A.H/B.Sc (Agr)/B.Sc (Hort)/B.F.Sc/B.Tech (FS&T) (Bi.P.C)/B.Sc (CA&BM) (Bi.P.C)/ Medical (MBBS/BDS/BAMS/BHMS/BNYS) and B.Pharm/ B.Tech (Bio-Technology)/Pharm-D (Bi.P.C) courses.
  • Application form together with the enclosures including the “Instruction Booklet” can be had in person (not by post) on payment of Rs. 250/- in cash (this amount covers the cost of application, fee for entrance test, and towards Service charges for Post offices) AT ALL THE HEAD POST OFFICES AND ALL e-SEVA CENTRES within the state of Andhra Pradesh till 15.4.2010.

Date of Entrance Test 30-05-2010

 Test Timings:

For Engineering Stream (E) 10.00 AM to 1.00 PM

For Medicine Stream (AM) 02.30 PM to 5.30 PM

Sale and Receipt of Application forms: 

a) Date of commencement of Sale and
receipt of application forms: 22-02-2010

 b) Last date for sale of applications: 15-04-2010

c) Last date for the receipt of filled in application forms without late fee: 03-04-2010

d) Last date for the receipt of filled in application forms at Convener’s Office only with late fee of Rs. 500/-: 09-04-2010

e) Last date for the receipt of filled in application forms at Convener’s Office only with late fee of Rs. 1000/-: 15-04-2010

f) Last date for the receipt of filled in application forms at Convener’s  Office only with late fee of Rs5000/- : 10-05-2010  (at Convener’s office, Hyd in person only, no online submission)

g) Last date for the receipt of filled in application forms at Convener’s  Office only with late fee of Rs. 10000/- : 27-05-2010

(at Convener’s office, Hyd in person only, no online submission)

For candidates submitted with late fee of 10000/- , test centre will be allotted at Hyderabad/ Secunderabad only

 Applications are available only in convener’s office , Hyderabad from 16.04.2010 to 27-05-2010

 The late fee and online submission application fee must be in the form of Demand Draft on any nationalized bank payable at Hyderabad, in favor of Secretary, Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education.

 Filled in Application should be submitted to the Regional Coordinator in person as mentioned in the Instruction Booklet or to the Convener, EAMCET – 2010, SIT Building, Cellar portion, JNT University Hyderabad, Kukatpally, Hyderabad – 500 085 by Regd. Post.
