TAMILNADU PG ENGINEERING ADMISSIONS 2010 - (TANCA) 2010

M.E./M.Tech./M.Arch./M.Plan

Applications have been invited by Anna University, Chennai for Admission to M.E./M.Tech./M.Arch./M.Plan degree programmes offered at University Departments of Anna University Campuses at Chennai, Coimbatore, Trichy and Tirunelveli along with Government, Government aided institutions and seats surrendered by the SF Engineering Colleges in Tamil Nadu for the Academic Year 2010-11.

Admission will be based on Tamil Nadu Common Admissions (TANCA) 2010.
Candidates having a pass in in all the subjects in the qualifying degree courses along with TANCET2010 or valid GATE-2010 or valid GATE-B 2010 are eligible to apply.

Application forms can be obtained in person from the following centers of Anna University on payment of Rs.500/- (Rs.250/- in case of SC/SCA/ST candidates belonging to Tamil Nadu) towards application fee, by cash/demand draft drawn in favour of " The Secretary, Tamil Nadu Common Admissions, Anna University Chennai" payable at Chennai:

Application forms can also be obtained by post from The Secretary, TANCA, Anna University Chennai, Chennai - 600 025 by sending a requisition letter along with a Demand Draft for Rs.600/- (Rs.350/- in case of SC/SCA/ST candidates belonging to Tamil Nadu) drawn in favour of " The Secretary, Tamil Nadu Common Admissions, Anna University Chennai" payable at Chennai.

Candidates can also register through Internet by logging on to www.annauniv.edu/tanca2010 and Print out of the online application has to be attached with a Demand Draft as mentioned above while despatch to the University.

Filled-in applications are to be submitted to The Secretary, Tamil Nadu Common Admissions 2010, Anna University Chennai, Chennai - 600025 on or before 19-07-2010.

Rajasthan Technical University (RTU) M.Tech Admissions 2010

Rajasthan Technical University (RTU) Kota invites applications for admission to Master of Technology (M.Tech) in Civil, Computer, Electrical, Electronics, and Mechanical engineering department.

Eligibility for admission:

Should have passed B.E./B.Tech. Degree with minimum 55% marks (in case of grades CGPA shall be minimum of 6.25 on 10 point scale).In case of SC/ST candidates , pass in B.E/B.TECH. With minimum marks of 50%shall be (in case of grade 5.75CGPA on 10 point scale.) eligible.

The candidates who have appeared/appearing in final B.E./B.Tech. can also apply. However, they shall be required to submit their mark sheet latest by 30th Sept.2010 failing which their admission shall stand canceled.

Admission Procedure:
 
In all M. Tech. programmes the admission shall be granted on the basis of valid GATE score and in case of vacancy the candidates not having GATE score shall be provided admission as per Undergraduate merit/interview/written test.

The reservation in M. Tech programme shall be as per State Govt. reservation policy.
